Naming objects not loading/freezing

I'm having this problem in making the Henley branch when I want to name an object (i.e station signs etc). I place down a station sign I obviously want to name it. I click on the name button and click the object I want to name but it freezes. The tab does not load up at all.

This is causing me real trouble when trying to wire up Shiplake AOCL which I have to name the equipment.

The simulator is still running with no problem but its the naming tab does not load up.

I press escape to get out of the freeze.

Please can you help?

Not sure if this is the same problem, but on my copy of TS12, opening the properties window for any asset causes the game to just stop for about 10 minutes the first time it's opened. Try just waiting, chances are the game is just "thinking". Once it's been opened once, it will be fine until I restart the game.

I have TS10 Build 42203.

It does not 'think'. I click on the object I would like to name and the naming tab does not load up BUT I can move around with my mouse but NOT with the key arrows.

Maybe I need to reinstall?

That's an early build of TS2010. Do you need advice on how to patch up to a later version of TS2010?

Yer I would like some help with patching as I have had no success with patching.

Your best bet would be to use the manual patches. What errors have you had when attempting to patch so far?
