5 Years old!

Post by Marky7890 »

Hello everyone.

Yesterday - 12th December 2015 the forum turned 5 years old! Having been set up on 12th December 2010! How time flys!

I decided to quickly set up this forum due to the UK Trainz forum shutting down suddenly due to a database fault, corrupting much of the data.

Since then the forum has grown to become one of the leading places for discussion of Trainz for UK players and content creators, with many of the old UK Trainz forum members coming over, as well as plently of new players.

Thank you to everyone that has made the forum what it is today. We now have over 1,200 members, over 2,700 topics and almost 30,000 posts!

Thank you,
Mark

A very big thank you for this wonderful place of discussion. The quality here knocks the spots of the official forum and long may it continue. Praise must also got to all those who contribute on such a regular basis. The knowledge is invaluable even to those of us that have been using of using Trainz for many years.
Cheers, Kenneth

5 Years, seems more like 5 minutes !

I would just like to add my thanks to all those (AKA Mark & his little helpers - not forgetting Rudolf) who have been involved in setting up and maintaining the forum as well as moderating and contributing to what is a friendly place to be and a great resource for us UK Trainzers.

Happy 5th birthday to the site Mark, other administrators and members.
Joined the British Trainz Forum Tue Sep 22, 2015 3:51 pm and find the site very useful for gaining tips and advice from other members involved in Trainz modelling techniques.
Cheers

Thank you. It's become my most used forum and I think it's become a hideaway from those who wish to still talk about trainz, but without the yank dominated hysterics that regularly afflict the other forum.
