Hi everyone just wondering if anyone has any details on conflat loading yards.
Were containers delivered to manufactures and filled with good then transported to A loading yard or were they loaded at the yard and how were those yards arranged ?.
Cheers.

Re: Conflat loading
The containers where usually loaded at the manufacturers then transported by road in most cases to a goods yard that had a suitable crane .
Some of the larger manufacturers may well of had there own sidings where the containers could of been loaded directly ?
