Feather and Theatre not working

When I try to add feather or theatre signals to my route, none of them seem to work. Even when I go into the signal settings it says that it picks up the feather and theatre signals. Can anyone help this is doing my nut in!

Try placing a loco before the signal(s) then change the direction of the points .
The signals need to read along the track to another signal or buffer stop for the feathers or theatre indicator to show .
Note not all buffer stops actually work so a simple way to check is to run the mouse cursor over the buffer stop and if a name comes up "signal xxxx" then its set up correctly to stop trains and work with signals .
Check the placement of the "Modelock" boards and make sure they aren't inside the track spline circle at the start of the points .
