Self Built Loco Permenantly Derailed

Post by dave_jarrett »

After years of Trainzing I decided to venture into the world of Build It Yourself.
Buildings, Stations etc are no issue.
I then built a very basic loco which, after much forum searching I managed to get to run, with sounds and smoke.
Feeling rather smug, I decided to build something more realistic, and then my troubles started.
I know my poly count is way too high (32k) but I cannot find out why every time I try to run my engine it immediately becomes derailed and after a few moments it disappears, which is I understand the standard behavior.
I have used the new Bogey on my first effort and everything runs fine.
Using my new body on my first bogey results in the derailment, so I am assuming the issue is with the body.
I have stripped down the body piece by piece with the same outcome.
I am running T:ANE SP3 build 94916
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
Many thanks in advance.
