I've been working on this semi-fictional, semi-futuristic (around 2025) route for 5 years, on and off, and I thought I'd share with you some screenshots.
It's loosely based around the Trent Valley section of the West Coast Mainline between Rugby and Stafford, via both Birmingham New Street and Tamworth. It also features the urban lines and branch lines in the region.
It also includes the proposed High-speed 2, the extended West Midlands Metro, and a fully functional airport.
The route is possibly just 1% complete in the grand scheme of things, so I am hoping that when Auran release the surveyor multiplayer feature work could be completed much more efficiently.
