Hi Innis, looking good.

I think you've got the track layout of platform 2 and 3 wrong there. From the Urban Glasgow forum.

I started work on some of the buildings in George Square. I'm away from home just now but I'll be back in a few weeks and I'll get this one done soon.

Superb James. I look forward to seeing those.

I can't remember what I used as a track plan for QS. It may have been after the remodelling of the track in recent years. I'll take a look at it and if it's not a huge job, will look to change it per the above.

I note there are two slightly different layouts off the P2 road into P1 and the sidings. I can modify to either without any great problem.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the colour picture was after the sidings next to P1 had been removed. Looks like they remodelled a reasonable amount of trackwork.

Actually looking at it again, I think what they did was remove the junction that the line from P2 connected to and instead connected the line from P2 to the junction that P1 originally came off, and then added a new junction in for P1 on this realigned track section. It also looks like they shaved the end off of P1/P2 to accommodate this. It's clearly more pointed in the colour image.

I've done a bit of remodelling and come up with an amalgamation of the two.

I've been adding scenery to the interior of Queen Street.

Just a general question.

I've added buildings to Glasgow around Queen Street and I'm wondering how far should I go? If I do the entire lot, I'll never get out of Glasgow, so is what can be seen in the image below enough? From the station throat, the area looks suitably built up.

Looking great so far!

Personally, I think that if it looks built up from cab on approach to the station, then that would be enough.

I'm finally breaking free of Glasgow city centre and starting to head north. Here is seen the northern approach to the Queen St tunnel and scenery is starting to connect to that already in place around Cowlairs and Eastfield in the distance.

And I don't think anyones computer would. :D

I think that's an excellent model of George Square. Maybe add a few of the built-in generic city buildings around the edges and use some background planes in there somewhere. You really could be there forever with a scene like that.

This route has hit the buffers!

Somehow the route file has become corrupted and I've lost the route along with the will. I do have an old version in TRS19 but I'll need to take a look at it and decide how much it would take to get it to where the TRS22 version was. Stupid me didn't make a cdp back up which has just cost me hundreds of hours of work. A lesson learned indeed.

At worst, I'll abandon the whole thing, at best, I may do an abridged version which only takes in the main Edinburgh to Glasgow line via Falkirk High.

Oh dear, that's not good Innis.
If you have Trainz backups enabled you could try and see if an earlier copy is in there?
