Member introduction thread
Re: Member introduction thread
Hi I'm Dom,
I work in the world of cloud computing as a Developer/QA. I got in to Trainz about 5 or so years ago with TS12, the first route I ever drove was Balezino-Mosti. I soon was mesmerized by the amazing ECML route and loved seeing it grow with the release of TANE. My one dream with trainz is to find some high quality mkIII/HST stock and some electrified UK routes.

Hello there!
My name's Ryan. I was once upon a time on the old UKTrainz forum under a different name but lost interest and subsequently missed the site closing, which is a shame. Recently gotten back in to trains and due to lack of space right now to create a layout, I decided to come back to the only sim I ever really gotten on with!

Welcome to the forum Dom and Ryan.
I set up this forum after the closure of the UK Trainz forum for UK users to have a place for mainly UK discussion away from the official NV3 forums

Re: Member introduction thread
Makes sense, I thought a few names seemed familiar! As much use as the main Trainz forum can be, I could never get used to it.

Hi all. Thanks for the add. I have been away from Trainz for some years and recently purchased T:ANE. Looking forward to getting back into it.

Hi all
New to Train Simulations so please excuse my ignorance.
Chose Trainz after having a look around the other options.
Interested in building layouts and running services.
Mostly based on growing up in the coalfields of Lancashire.
Got lots of good info from the forum already especially from the thread from the last new member thread ~ thanks
Thinking of buying trainz 2022 plus membership and taking it from there.
Any idea's advice more than welcome
My background is as a programmer then systems analyst etc
Thanks in advance

Welcome aboard.
Hope you continue to find useful info on the forum. We're far friendlier than that 'big' forum though perhaps not quite as prolific.
Cheers,
Innis
