Getting a list of your own KUIDs

Post by james73 »

Is it possible to export a list of your own content from Content Manager and paste ito in Excel/Libre Office Calc?

It's only recently that I created a spreadsheet with my most recent content in it, but I have no list of the KUIDs I used for some of my older content that I want to update. Obviously I can view it in CM but it would be much more convenient in a spreadsheet.

Yes there is, but it's slightly fiddly.

My Content
Edit>Select All
Edit>Copy

Paste into chosen spreadsheet. In 'Text import dialogue' hide all the columns except the Kuid one, then import
Move over a cell and paste again. This time use '>' as a text delimiter, and hide the kuid column.

If you wanted the list by asset category, you would have to export multiple times for each asset type. There's no way of getting these out of CM as far as I can see.
