Hi Mike,

I seem to remember this problem from the old train support site.

If you get the sound file for the 150's (kuid No) then click on the specific unit's in question in the cmp and open for edit (in explorer), open the config file, then simply change the relevant kuid numbers over where it says engine sound and at the bottom kuid list. Once changed make sure you save the change and commit the said change in the cmp; It should work ok.

One thing most of us noticed was that the sounds in some of the units distorted if you went beyond notch 4.

Hope this helps.

Chris A. :) :)

I've had the same problem, I used to have loads of 153/158/159s but now they won't show for some reason. It's also affected the class 117/121s. Maybe the bogies have been obsoleted? :|

The 158 bogie's on the DLS have been updated to remove errors so are now a trainz 2.7 build which is TC1 and 2 (that being the minimum build number that can be uploaded) .
If you have just freshly installed class 158's into 2006 (don't think they came built in in 2006 ?) then you'll find the bogie's are missing and so any piece of rolling stock using those bogie's will not work in the Sim .

I've seen reports that the original (non kuid2) versions would still be visible to lower trainz build users (with a FCT) on the DLS , is this statement correct ?
High visibility pixels must be worn when on or about the line !!

Yes, the older versions do appear on the DLS and i haven't got an FCT but do have 2010.

Either that would altering the trainz-build number work in the newer version ?

I've had them for well over 18 months now. They were amongst the first models I downloaded.
