British Trainz

For fans of steam and for those who simply enjoy adding to their collection , A new Trainz steam locomotive pack has appeared on the UKtrainsim website for download .
An unusual place these days for Trainz content so I thought I'd pass the information on for those who don't frequent UKtrainsim .

You will need to be a member to download , You can join for free though please note that free downloads have a severely restricted bandwidth limited to a maximum of five users downloading at a time , So dependant on the time of day you may find you have to wait quite a while . Also note I tried the free restricted download at 5am and was second in the queue , so I was in within a minute or so but the limited bandwidth combined with the file size of 37.5mb meant an estimated download time of 55+ minutes !!
Given the time I cancelled the download as bed is beckoning , so I'm unable to confirm Trainz build .

Subscription members have no bandwidth restrictions and don't have to wait in a queue system .

Hang on a minute though, that gentlemans got his own website. I'm sure of it, if only I could remember its name.

The Claughtons download was from mediafire (right click on green download button and select "save as" to avoid the nasty popups that most antivirus programs don't like)
and on broadband it only took about 2 minutes to download , far quicker than over on UKtrainsim !

The other content though is downloaded from Sendspace which is a lot more pedestrian , though still faster than UKtrainsim.
(Sendspace = 79 kb/s UKtrainsim = 25 kb/s)

They are on the DLS dated 12th November Author knucklesnvector, so much easier when people stick to one user name!
