Re: Class 310/312 (Second Generation EMUs)
Just had a proper look through the photos - and there are 20 altogether - including close up views of all the knobs, switches, dials and facias. There are floor shots, shots looking through all three cab windows (showing the destination blind box, vents, speakers, cables - everything), full 360 degrees views of the cab - including one looking out from behind the driver into the interior of the unit (and it does look as if all of the seats are still in the unit) - plus higher up shots showing some of the detailing higher up in the cab.
The offer of the visit still stands too so that I can take photos of anything else you need.

Re: Class 310/312 (Second Generation EMUs)
back onto gmax again today, just a small update
Put all the glass in, and some hand rails and front detailing.
And just building up the rear of the unit, the frosted glass on the loo's windows will be whited later when textures start to go on.
Also you can see how I create the shapes with the roof to back plate. building as if the lines are beams.
cheers greeni

Wow, a fantastic bit of work there! Makes me nostalgic for when I used to travel on Class 312s when I was a kid.

Looks amazing Greeni.
Did my emails get through to you OK by the way? The attachments were quite large so weren't sure whether they made it OK.

Re: Class 310/312 (Second Generation EMUs)
Thanks all in all the building I Have had 3 days off. Nothing will stop me from fishing....haha.
Its in early stages but going well so far, once this on is built the rest of the unit wont take long.
Just need some good shots of undercarriage area to make sure i get things in there roughly right places.
Briggsy, yes mate all those pictures were great, and I will keep them within the terms they have asked... can you give the guy's a big thanks for there information's and photo's that they given.
It will be a while off yet but once I get it to going into beta form, I will be asking for some beta tester's with experience with the looks and knowledge of these units and willing to give full comments good and bad.
To go through the basic's of the unit and trying it out in game....
Cheers greeni

Once again, that is amazing work - I can't believe how quickly you've got to that stage.
Of course, the post is not complete without the obligatory .

Excellent work
Just in case you wasn't aware Gary :
The class 310's where built without a corridor connection between the motor coach and trailer coach at the guards van end . The corridor connector was only added when the units where refurbished .

Re: Class 310/312 (Second Generation EMUs)
Most of my railway books have been packed away for my impending flat move, so can't check for any decent underframe pics for you, but did come across this link for a Class310/312 model kit whilst searching for something else:

Dunno if it'll help.
