Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Apart from the ones mentioned up thread, I'm just missing those assets from Karl now.
Very impressive route, and one that fits well with my memories of it. Got a couple of issues with the briges on the four track section around Moor Park, where the track is all tangled up. Almost like the bridge has been rotated with the track still attached. This might be a TRS19 vs TANE issue I guess?

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Probably. I find opening TANE routes in TRS19 has a habit of causing weird glitches like that. Mainly splines not retaining their height information - Klambert's CLL has a bunch of houses and grass inside teh tunnel portals, and Duchy Days has a couple of bridges that now hug the terrain

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
I've sent Karl an email and a PM so all we can do is wait for him to "drop by," as it were.
The route itself was built in T:ANE. It never occurred to me to try opening it in TRS19 for some reason. You might have to delete a couple of bits and rebuild them by the sounds of what you said.
Cheers
Dave
P.S. I found a link for geordieboy's stuff that might be of help for one of the missing assets:

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
I'm pleased to say that I've been contacted by Karl today. Here's the main relevant part of what he had to say:
"Unfortunately, I can't upload anything else, due to working for the 'other sim' it'd be a conflict-of-interest issue, however you have my full permission to upload any of my outstanding work..."
I will, therefore, be taking steps to upload the missing assets at some point today. I'll let you all know when it's done so you can keep an eye out for them.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for the update, and to Karl for his permission.
I guess these assets will be under your kuid then Dave, with a revised route to follow along.

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Yes, I've spent this afternoon deleting Transdem files and sorting Karl's assets. I think I've done them all but, as usual, if you know different... . The assets themselves have been uploaded and cleared so they should appear on the DLS very soon. I've still got a couple of bits to do on the route before re-uploading (i.e swap Karl's assets for the edited stuff mainly) but I'm struggling a bit now with painful arms. I'm not particularly quick at the best of times but my poor arms had to bear most of my body weight on a trip to the hospital yesterday and right now it feels like somebody was punching them all night long
I'll see if I can get it uploaded tonight but it depends on how the arms are after a rest.
Cheers

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Thanks Reece, and everyone else who has sent good wishes and kind words too.
Apologies for the delay in getting things moving a bit quicker but I had a doctors appointment and a hospital appointment to deal with, both of which require so much effort just at the moment that they tend to drain my will to live for the rest of the day.
However, I'm happy to be able to say that the missing assets that needed "alterations" are now on the DLS and I have today uploaded a revised version of the route. If I can help with anything more just let me know.
Cheers

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Dave and Karl : Thanks for the updated route and missing content
Yes you can under "Dave's" club rules , It requires you to pay a extortionate upfront fee for admin costs (Towards the Dave's club annual holiday to St David's in Wales ) has a variable daily interest rate around 100% and you'll be required to pay DAT (Dave's Added Tax)Briggsy wrote:Can you led me £50 until Payday?cyberdonblue wrote:If I can help with anything more just let me know.

I'll let Marky7890 know - that will be covered under my official Moderators expenses allowanceNexusdj wrote:Dave and Karl : Thanks for the updated route and missing content

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Sorry Briggsy. You'll have to be patient and wait until the Dave's Dodgy Insurance Fund pays out the " he kicked the bucket" rate - either that or payment can be made in Monopoly money from any dodgy bank local to you You can, however, still pay the extortionate up front fees in advance to Dave ready for when the great occasion actually comes around.
Cheers

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Thanks for the new upload.
I've been making a template session with station trackmarks, a few additional portals, and making a schedule library. I can't connect the portals without changing the route, but I can upload the session if it is of any use to anyone?
Alternatively if Dave didn't mind, he could connect the portals and merge the session into the route, and upload both new route and session?

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
I believe you can add the portals and connect the track in the session layer and they'll still work* fine without touching the route layer
*well, usually. Sometimes they'll break for no discernible reason, but reloading sometimes fixes them
