I 've seen that said before, but I've never managed to do it. As soon as you connect the track, it wants to save the route too, even if the route layer is locked beforehand.

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Are you using TRS19? If so that's a thing that happens in it actually, and it does the same even if you don't make any changes. Just opening the route and then exiting it asks me if I want to save changes to the route, so there might be some conversion going on... One of the many reasons I'm still doing my route/session building in TANE...

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
I'm in TANE 105766 with this route - I had issues with tangled track in TRS19.
A new route in TANE gets TB 4.5, the same as this route, so it shouldn't be that.

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Huh, that's odd, it usually behaves itself in TANE. It's usually TRS19 that randomly decides I've made route level changes just by daring to look upon the landscape!

While I'm missing most of the dependencies, this one bugs me because it isn't listed anywhere else: <kuid:214658:101174>

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Apologies to everyone. It appears that I forgot to upload this one (and a couple of LU items too.) They've been sent to the DLS now so should be available shortly.Zaphod Scotsman wrote:While I'm missing most of the dependencies, this one bugs me because it isn't listed anywhere else: <kuid:214658:101174>
Sorry folks.
Cheers
Dave
P.S. Please be aware that my stuff is listed on the DLS as by cyberdongreen. Long story

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
I've not really dabbled with Trainz for ages so if you could to send me an idiot sheet making it clear to my poor old thick skull what needs to be taken on board then I'd be happy to help.stovepipe wrote:Thanks for the new upload.
I've been making a template session with station trackmarks, a few additional portals, and making a schedule library. I can't connect the portals without changing the route, but I can upload the session if it is of any use to anyone?
Alternatively if Dave didn't mind, he could connect the portals and merge the session into the route, and upload both new route and session?
Cheers
Dave
P.S. Apologies for the double post.

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Hi Ricky,
It's that long since I visited here I almost forgot how to reply . Anyway, there's a list of missing stuff and where it can be found somewhere on here. I'm afraid there were a few mix ups too due to my failing health and multiple types of medication at that time. (My problems are mostly mobility at the moment, as a matter of interest to anyone who might be interested )
Anyway, some time back - March of this year I think - stovepipe got in touch with me after I'd uploaded what I'd managed to complete of the route and we decided he could try and put things into a more workable option. I'm not sure how far he's got with things because I've been out of circulation for a while and I haven't heard from him - or indeed anyone - for a while.
I hope that's at least some help to you.
Cheers
Dave
PS. Yes, the geophil stuff is Transdem and you can just delete it (it should have been done before uploading the route.)
