It's easy to get bored working on one area so I've taken a trip over to Edinburgh and been adding scenery to the Balgreen/Murrayfield areas. The stadium isn't quite right but it isn't too big a stretch of the imagination.

An overview of Greenhill junction, with the beginnings of Bonnybridge beyond.

Re: Central Scotland - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Dunblane
Have had a bit of a break from Trainz. Nice to see the hi res terrain coming but I'm still not inclined to move on from TRS19.
Anyway, been filling out in and around Camelon. This is quite an intensive area scenery wise as I have to fill in between the two lines that pass this area. I've decided to tone down scenery that's beyond 100m or so from the tracks and instead of putting walls, sheds and so on, just the houses will appear. This will still be a lot of work but should stop me going insane in the process.

A pair of 37s, with some nasty stuff in tow from ICI in Grangemouth, approaching unsuspecting passengers at Falkirk Grahamston.

Re: Central Scotland - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Dunblane
I had a bit of route fatigue but finally back at it again. I've been filling out Falkirk and the image below is a progress shot, including the branch to Grangemouth docks, which will be included for some freight interest. It's a bit of a mix of old and new, the retail park not having existed during the period I'm trying to portray but it's hard to stick to a narrow time range.
I think I've said before, this should cover mid 80s to late 90s/early 2000 so should provide a lot of versatility. The route is designed primarily to be used in cab view.

Bored of Falkirk Grahamston so moved to Falkirk High. A few shots of the station in a near complete state.

An overview of Polmont junction. I've taken a few 'artistic' liberties. The supermarket and petrol station on the left shouldn't really be there. A large housing estate would be in the fields top centre too but thought it would add a little scenic value for minimal effort, whereas housing estates are a pain in the arse.

What stadium is that you are using please? Trying to find something for Home Park in Plymouth.PFX wrote:Change of scenery these last few days. I'm currently scuttering about around Falkirk Grahamston. Here you can see what us Alloa fans referred to as 'Shockville' in the foreground, which looks far more salubrious than the actual ground (now a Morrisons), with the station in the distance. The station building itself is a triangular construction but I've done a make do and mend version here. Some work to do no terrain levels but that will come later.

Hi Mark, I hadn't seen your message there. The stands are a spline, Stadium spline 03 kuid2:682131.
Been working around Queen Street.

George Square has now been created and buildings added around Queen Street. I'm not including the awful Buchanan Galleries as I'd prefer to keep an older character for the route.
