Flickr have announced that it will be offline for about 12 hours starting at UK 12am GMT (01:00 BST) on the 23rd May 2019 for the planned migration of all photos and data from the Yahoo servers to the Amazon AWS servers (location of SmugMug's data) .

I'd expect it to be slow going for a while after the migration as there's a lot of data for them to process !
Flickr pics hot linked on forums will probably be unavailable during the downtime .
