Weedkiller
I'm modelling the 1990's version of the Weedkilling train, the one run by Hunslet - Barclay when they first got their Class 20's, 20901 - 20906. The train consists of top and tail 20's, Mk1 coaches and TTA wagons for the water. My understanding is that the weedkilling mixture came out of the lower portions of one of the coaches in the form of a spray. Is there any way of replicating this spraying action in Trainz, does anyone know?

Re: Weedkiller
I did this mod to a MK1 BG ages ago. It’s not a water spray but it looks effective.
I added two attachment points to each side of the vehicle using pev soft attachment maker.
I then used the cyldraincocks.tfx copied from the built in 9f. Add the lines copied from the 9fs config file to the Mk1’s file. You’ll need to do this 4 times for each attachment. Changing the name of the attachments to the ones you’ve created.
Takes a bit of fiddling to get the position and orientation right by adjusting the values in the config or moving the attachments about.
It’s not water but a small jet of steam but looks the part.

Re: Weedkiller
Thanks for that info, Shippy. I have the Pev soft attachment maker program, but its a bit of a black art to me! I'll have a go though and see if I can duplicate what you have described as it sounds just the thing. As a matter of interest, where on the MK1 did you mount the attachments? (Edit - Forget that, I've just found some pics on the interwebby thing that shows the jets)

Re: Weedkiller
The weed killer train I currently run is a personal reskin so can’t load to DLS and I’m reluctant to post screen shots due to the permissions things but I run two class 20’s in hunslet grey. Top and tail. 3 TTA’s I think greeni supplied these to me a few year back. They are plain grey with the wording Water on the sides. A Mk 1 CK, SK and 2 post office sorting vans all in a modified grey and white hunslet livery with the coaches having black and yellow wasp ends. The steam jet mod is fitted to the sole bar of the CK. the reason for the modification is I wanted it not to look out of place on my fictional GC route set in the present.

Re: Weedkiller
My train is a bit of a lash up, the Hunslet Barclay Class 20's, two of the green TTA's (thanks Gary) and two of my RTC liveried MK1 reskins as the coaches. I really need to get round to reliverying the coaches to HB Green at some point. Below is a pic of the spray coach 99907 seen at Hull Paragon on 24th June 1996, along with the rest of the weedkilling train and 20902 and 20903:
