Looks okay compared to other modern livieries IMO. But it's a matter of beggars can't be choosers - far too close to (admittedly gorgeous) electric blue!

Re: LSL Blue Pullman HST
Thanks for the video Dave
Update to my first post : The blue Pullman HST set didn't venture out on test yesterday (Monday) instead it was a scratch set consisting of ex EMR powercars bookending 4 former GWR carriages : (Clagmaster pic on Flickr) https://www.flickr.com/photos/60963146@ ... 3/sizes/l/

Controversial post alert: I don't like it. UK trains without yellow ends just don't look right

Normally I'd be with you, but I think this one gets a pass because the original didn't have yellow ends either.Briggsy wrote:Controversial post alert: I don't like it. UK trains without yellow ends just don't look right

Re: LSL Blue Pullman HST
I was skeptical about it too, in regards to the lack of yellow front ends. That is until I managed to catch it on its way back from its inaugural run last night. I must say, it does look rather smart in my opinion.

My camera isn't particularly high end, so my photo has been edited somewhat in regards to exposure, noise reduction and such.

I've spent too much time on the other sim...

My own opinion (and everyone has one of those, just like... well, you know) is that it looks very smart indeed. I'd hazard a guess that yellow ends will become increasingly less common anyway.

Re: LSL Blue Pullman HST
Indeed. A lack of yellow ends can look quite tasteful too. I'm quite a big fan of the way that the TPE Class 68s look, and consider that an example of the way that no yellow front ends can look fairly smart. Having said that, its obvious that some operators are happy to retain them, such as Greater Anglia's arrival of the class 745/755s. Nevertheless, it'll be interesting to see with new stock whether they'll opt in or out for them.PFX wrote:My own opinion (and everyone has one of those, just like... well, you know) is that it looks very smart indeed. Re: LSL Blue Pullman HST
Sorry to bump, but are there any pictures yet of the new interiors? Just wondering if they've recreated the somewhat spartan 1960s equivalents (and possibly recreated the appalling ride quality of the original as well!)
