Nexusdjs 390 pendolino

i downloaded nexusdjs pendolino all via FTP link but when i viewed it in trainz its not working can someone please help me thank you

The Pendolino and it's dependencies where uploaded for use with a minimum trainz build of TC1 & 2 , I see from your posts that your a 2006 user which means it wont work .
If I remember correctly it will need the trainz build and bogie entries changing , plus it will require the additional "asset-filename" entries added to the config file of each vehicle and dependency .

Before I'm asked it is a job I'm not prepared to do , so either you could attempt to convert it yourself (for own use) or I'm happy for another 2006 user who's converted it to send it you .
The alternative is to download the original version which I believe is still available via a link that can be found on the Auran forum .

The old version of the pendolino works in 2006, as I use it. Unfortunately though, I'm not sure if its available anymore.

I got it from the DLS, but I doubt somewhat that there still available. You might want to send a PM to Nexusdj to see if he can sort anything out.

It is still available on the Auran forum site linked here on page 12 and a user by the name of yamhamdan gives a link to some pendolino's compatible to 2006 i think. They are by a user by the name of spanner (jivebunny).

There are possibly a few errors that will need to be sorted out though which can be sorted. If you PM me James66414 after you've downloaded and then uploaded them to your CMP i will help you get rid of the errors if you ask nicely.

Right here's what you'll have to do

For the Class 390 Interior Cab the problems are - Error: No selection for tag 'att' in 'interior_main'. and Error: Attachment point att () in 'mesh-table\interior_main' was not found.

To sort this you'll have to right click your mouse button on the asset look down the list for "Edit" then with the new window then left click "Edit In Explorer" (or press Ctrl+Shift+E) to open the asset for editing. Look for the config.txt file and open it. Replace the part of the config that says

Save the new config and then commit the cab asset that will sort out the problem with the cab and get rid of the errors due to a faulty dependency with car 1, car 1 (drag) and car 9.

Car 2 the error is caused by Error: The Tag '#' is not permitted within a container of type 'traincar'.
Open the config of this asset then near the bottom of the config file you'll see asset-filename "virgin class 390 pendolino _ car 2" and just below that the offending error that being "#". Delete the line containing that save and commit that will get rid of that error.

Right the next one is the hardest to do without making a further mess of the config so be careful with this one. Open Car 4 asset and again open the config and where it says

That will get rid of the error with that one. What are the errors with car 6, 8 and 9 as i haven't got any with those ?
You know how to find out what the errors are via the menu don't you ?
Also have you downloaded the 2 missing dependencies ?

After all that the only thing left should be warnings about each asset - Warning: This asset requires a shadow mesh, but the mesh table does not contain one.
This is a bit more advanced and requires a certain program and a deeper knowledge of fixing it.
