Re: Forum Update

Looks good.

As for the banner - I used to have a bit of code that would change the banner to a different image from a pre-determined array each time you went to a new page or reloaded a page, although that was in phpBB2. I never got around to testing it in phpBB3. Kept things interesting.

Getting a list of your own KUIDs

Is it possible to export a list of your own content from Content Manager and paste ito in Excel/Libre Office Calc? It's only recently that I created a spreadsheet with my most recent content in it, but I have no list of the KUIDs I used for some of my older content that I want to update. Obviously I...

Share TRS database?

Stupid question here but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Is it possible to share the TRS database between more than one edition, e.g. between TRS2019 and TRS2022?

Hi Innis.

Sorry to hear about the loss of the route. I can't imagine how infuriating that must be.

Re: Central Scotland - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Dunblane

Just a general question. I've added buildings to Glasgow around Queen Street and I'm wondering how far should I go? If I do the entire lot, I'll never get out of Glasgow , so is what can be seen in the image below enough? From the station throat, the area looks suitably built up. https://live.stati...

Re: Central Scotland - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Dunblane

I note there are two slightly different layouts off the P2 road into P1 and the sidings. I can modify to either without any great problem. Yes, I'm pretty sure the colour picture was after the sidings next to P1 had been removed. Looks like they remodelled a reasonable amount of trackwork. Actually...

Hi Innis, looking good. Been working around Queen Street. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52728373458_d9dd04bc8e_b.jpg I think you've got the track layout of platform 2 and 3 wrong there. Incredible. I can hear the engine turning over and remember how comfy those big upholstered seats were. 8-)

Re: UK Trainz DLC – developing the range

I don't know why they can't just offer it as Payware rather than us having to subscribe too. That means people are effectively paying twice. I have no desire to subscribe because I'm grandfathered in on a lifetime First Class Ticket which I bought yeeeeeears ago back when that was available. I'd ha...

Just recently did a big upgrade, my first since early 2015. I kept my GPU, soundcard, and SSD drives, most of which were fairly recent upgrades. Re: Gmax vs Blender

I still use Gmax. I've also got 3DS Max 2012, which I think is the last version that had a Trainz plugin. Image

I've tried Blender, but I dont have the mental energy to come in from work and sit and learn yet another modelling program. :(

Re: Central Scotland - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Dunblane

Change of scenery these last few days. I'm currently scuttering about around Falkirk Grahamston. Here you can see what us Alloa fans referred to as 'Shockville' in the foreground, which looks far more salubrious than the actual ground (now a Morrisons), with the station in the distance. The station...

An overview of the area around Eastfield and Springburn. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51977594534_5f6e364481_b.jpg Nice. :) A pretty good likeness in my opinion. Re: Class 101 (And others) Project Thread.

James is right - should be whole numbers between 0 and 255. For some reason, GIMP presents them as decimals! Paul Hi Paul. That's very odd. I've only used GIMP briefly but I had no idea it did that. I'm a long-time Paint Shop Pro guy (v5, v6, v9, 2018) and have been since 1998, and it always shows ...
