Well, Well, how's about that then!

Using a combination of your expertise & dogged determination on my part, I'm pleased to report that the beloved Peak Locomotives from tmz06003 have returned to occupy their rightful places in my TRS19 & here's a shot to prove it.

Most grateful for your help & now I should be able to get other non-showing locos to work too.

Merry Christmas & thanks.

Good to hear your back up and running :D

I took the plunge last night and updated to SP2 , Went on without a problem , 6000+ seconds to do a DBR (500,000+ items installed) and I ran a "PreBuild" which took another 20 odd minutes but all good .Only things flagged additional faulty so far where some Edh6 steam loco tenders that are flagged up for missing a .kin file for the loading animation .

Having run my Kates Hill route from end to end the night before in SP1 to test it I decided to do the same run in SP2 and noticed there where fewer micro stutters , There's also one place where I seem to get the dreaded track disappearing and reappearing routine which only seems to affect that one track section , the track disappeared the night before but last night remained firmly in view , So reports of a slight performance increase on the big forum which I'm always a little sceptical about seem to ring true this time , though more testing required ;)

Just updated to SP2, and urgh... I thought we were done playing the tunnel game after T:ANE settled down...

Apart from the fact that T:ANE routes with tunnels no longer display properly in TRS19, everything else seems to work fine, and I get slightly better performance compared to 105096

As yet I do not see anything good about this Service pack & have now over 700 faulty assets some of which are in the Faulty list & no longer in game but some not even flagged faulty. Feels like vandals have dug up the football pitch overnight. Class 14 gone & MK1 Sub coaches. Makes me feel like walking away from it!!!!!! Vep this pack is a VANDAL in my opinion with more bad than good !!!!!!!! Am thinking of reinstalling the game & not haviong this pack added.

Delete contents of Cache/internet folder.
Run a Database Repair, revert anything in open to edit to original, install all of the Updates from manage content, known bug but if the updates from content store show an error, view error and click cancel as they are actually installed. Install all of the Updates for out of Date new version available from the DLS.
Anything showing faulty, open for edit and revert to original, may still show faulty however clicking on the item or using preview should clear most of them. That should just leave actual faulty items, here that was zero.

Afraid you can't install an older version as that's no longer available to download.

Always BACKUP your whole install before patching, that's game files and userdata.
It usually helps if before patching you get rid of any faulty stuff you haven't fixed, update the DLS items where available, delete the Contents of the Cache/Internet folder and finally perform a Database Repair.
Cheers

Thanks I will set about doing that tomorrow & hope it fixes most of the problems. I see some items are still in game so not quite a sbad as it ifrst appeared but still a shock to see such a large number flagged as faulty. Thank you for advice. Clam.

Pleased to say that I have recovered a lot of my assets that fell to the Service pack update after following the instructions you kindly gave me Clam. Down to items that require Revert to Original but so happy to recover a lot of lost items after the Update. Many thanks, John
