Finally gotten the drive to do a bit more work on Wendsey. Because I still wasn't happy with some of the earlier areas, I've torn a lot of it up and started again. This is the newest (I think this is the 4th time I've redesigned it) iteration of Wendsey Central's southern approach, the joining point of the mainline, the Hadley Loop, and the former connection to what is now the Queen's Park lines:

Hmm, giant concrete structures cutting through a leafy suburb? It can only mean rail expansion projects!

I made a few changes to some of the existing areas of the map. Seen here is the Roybirch line. I replaced the flat junction that carried the X-City lines over the canal with a concrete flyover more akin to what you'd see on a line constructed in the late 2010s. The original bridge was a bit anachronistic. This also meant Roybirch has gained an extra platform, as I needed to give the flyover track as much room as possible to rise over the Wendsey Central lines. It's lost a bit of its rural feel, but Platform 1 was always less characterful, being a concrete prefab that replaced the original some time ago. At least Platform 2 retains its wooden canopy and stairway.

Roybirch station seen here with its new third platform and rebuilt bridge:

And the station before the Project Harrington works, from roughly the same angle:
