TRS2019 Crashing
Hello to anyone who can help.
Having been a rail simmer since 2003, but mainly with Rail Simulator, I needed a new challenge, particularly with AI programming which, having done some research along with using an early version of Trainz 2006, I decided to purchase Trainz2019 Platinum a few weeks ago.
I acquired new hardware, namely, AMD Ryzen 7, 8 core 3.6 GHz, 16Gb ram, GTX 1660 Ti, 250Gb SSD, 1Tb HDD.
Trainz 2019 is the only programme on this pc, but it continually crashes. The result is the screen goes black & the pc reboots itself but Trainz has shut down.
Crashes occur when I click on Driver/Surveyor, when I'm in topology mode raising or lowering terrain, when I'm painting, when I access driving sessions.
I would like to uninstall the entire programme and reinstall from scratch but can't seem to find how to do it.
I would be so grateful for any advice

Before reinstalling, try a full database repair, often fixes problems, that's in Content Manager, Developer hold down ctrl while clicking rebuild database, may take a while depending on how much stuff you have installed.
This is for the N3V version not Steam, no idea what happens with that but Uninstalling, it's easier just to delete it, if there have been any patches the uninstaller doesn't work.
Reinstalling: From the N3V forum MyTrainz, login, bottom left install TRS19 or just click this and it goes to the same place https://www.auran.com/planetauran/portal.php
What build are you on?
Shouldn't normally be any problem as I'm running TRS19Plus, software is the same, on a Ryzen 7 8 cores and a GTX1080Ti and now on Windows 11 without any issues.

I did a full database repair. Didn't work.
The build is 114800 which was updated a few days ago.
As far as I can remember, everything was fine prior to this update, but I can't be not sure.
Anyway, I've done a full uninstall & reinstalled. Still crashed to desktop.
This morning I've carried out a full recovery of the pc which has wiped the ssd clean & reinstalled windows.
I've reinstalled Trainz & it still crashes. Double clicking the icon brings up the Launcher where I click on 'Start Trainz', fine. Click on either 'Driver/Surveyor' or 'Learn to Drive' & it crashes. The computer is still running, but the screen goes black before the desktop reappears & Trainz has shut down.
My conclusion is that either the Trainz software is seriously infected or my pc, which is only 2 months old, is in dire straits.
My next option is having my pc looked at.
I'll let you know if it gets sorted

Might get a clue if you have a look at the log, it's under developer or have a look at event viewer and reliability history may give a clue there if something is amiss.
Also check Graphics drivers are up to date, they haven known to cause problems in the past.
